Since it was established in 1971, Hard Rock has been committed to a wide variety of philanthropic causes and activities around the world. Hard Rock International has made it both its business and abiding passion to make the earth a safer, healthier and better place to live. Charitable work will always be integral to "what" Hard Rock "is".

Every year, Hard Rock's CEO, Hamish Dodds, visits philanthropic partner organizations around the world. Here, Hamish visits the Pathfinder Academy in Kitale, Kenya, which began as a school nobody thought would succeed. Now, this World Hunger Year beneficiary is a model for schools in the region. Inspired by the superlative care she received, Mrs. Osbourne joined forces with Cedars-Sinai's renowned surgeon Dr. Edward Phillips to harness key resources needed to help other colon cancer sufferers in the community.
